Utility undergrounding work began Tuesday, January 6, in the Golden Shores neighborhood. As crews convert overhead utilities to underground service, residents may experience brief, temporary power outages between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
A run-off election will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, to elect one of the following two candidates to Commission Seat 1:
On election day, voters must vote at their assigned precinct. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. To find your polling location, check your voter card or look it up on Miami-Dade County's webpage. Please note that St. Mary Magdalen Church will be unavailable to serve as a polling location for Precinct 2. All Election Day voters assigned to Precinct 2 must vote at Gateway Center, 151 Sunny Isles Blvd.
A shuttle service will be available from 6:45 a.m. - 7 p.m. to transport voters from St. Mary Magdalen Church to Gateway Center and back. The shuttle will run on a continuous route loop throughout the day.
