Town Center Park

This 3-acre park located in the heart of the city on the west side of Collins Avenue features a playground, fitness trail, adult workout equipment, gazebo, and open grassy area. Much of this property is state-protected wetland area.

Formerly a 1-story shopping mall, this property was donated to the city by a developer.

Hours

  • Daily (except Wednesdays), 8 am – 9 pm
  • Wednesdays, 12 pm – 9 pm

Meditation Garden

  • Hours: Daily, 9 am – 6 pm

The new Meditation Garden is an oasis designed for reflection, meditation, and appreciation of art. This outdoor sanctuary is adults only and is open daily from 9 am – 6 pm. During your visit, please help us preserve the tranquil spiritual character of this meditation garden by observing the following:

  • Embrace the gentle ambiance with peaceful noise levels.
  • Enjoy the natural scents – no smoking, vaping, food, or drinks.
  • Kindly refrain from bringing glass bottles.
  • Savor the blossoms; picking flowers is discouraged.
  • Professional photography is permitted with prior approval.
  • We love all pets, but only service animals trained to aid a person with a disability are allowed.

Park Rules

The following are prohibited in all City parks as per City Ordinance 201, and can be enforced by any City employee:

  • Bicycles, Skates, Skateboards, or Scooters
  • Motorized Vehicles (i.e. scooters, segways)
  • Pets
  • Glass Containers
  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Grilling or Cooking
  • Fireworks or open flames
  • Camping
  • Amplified Music
  • Feeding Animals 
  • No Smoking

No trespassing outside of park hours. All Sunny Isles Beach Police Officers are authorized representatives, and may advise any person to leave park premises. Failure to vacate the premises after being so instructed may result in an arrest for trespassing after warning pursuant to Florida Statutes 810.08 and 810.09.

Reminder: No animals are permitted in the parks with the exception of recognized service animals. Dogs are allowed at designated dog parks. Dogs must remain on a leash and you must pick up after your pet. Containers are available for you to be a responsible pet owner.
