Uniform Patrol Sunny Isles Beach PD

The Uniform Patrol Division is the heart of our Police Department. It operates around the clock, providing 24/7 police services throughout the City of Sunny Isles Beach. These officers proactively provide professional police services to detect, prevent, and deter criminal activities through strategic and directed patrol.

Service Focus

  • Protection of life and property

  • Preservation of public peace

  • Prevention and suppression of crime

  • Enforcement of laws and ordinances

Duties 

Officers in the Uniform Patrol Section are responsible for:

  • Responding to calls and determine calls of action

  • Participating in continuous in-service training 

  • Enforcing traffic laws  

  • Writing reports 

  • Build community relationships and engage with the public

  • Patrol the beach 24 hours 

  • Attending court proceedings
