State Road (SR) SR A1A/Collins Ave from 26 Street to 44 Street Project

ONGOING CONSTRUCTION

  • On Sunday night the contractor will be performing traffic loop work along Collins Avenue between 36 Street and 37 Street. Additional lanes may be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. One northbound lane will remain open at all times.

 

Sunday, March 23 through Saturday, March 29, 2025

Signalization, sidewalk, curb and gutter, and paving work

  • Performing nighttime striping operations along Collins Avenue between 26 Street and 44 Street
  • Performing signal and lighting work along Collins Avenue from 29 Street to 44 Street
  • Performing miscellaneous concrete work along Collins Avenue from 32 Street to 44 Street
  • Installing sod throughout the project limits
  • Performing punch list work throughout the project limits

 

Lane Closures

  • One northbound lane may be closed along Collins Avenue between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
  • Lanes may be closed from 9 p.m. 6 a.m. along Collins Avenue from 26 Street to 44 Street
  • Please note that pedestrian detours have been set up along Collins Avenue directing pedestrians to cross the street from east to west around the active work zones.
  • Please note that the Fontainebleau Hotel is performing work and lane closures at Collins between 41 street and 44 Street unrelated to this FDOT roadway project.
